你打开AI帮你改过的稿子,数一下:每一段里"not only... but also"出现了几次?"It is not... but..."

平行结构本身不丢人——"The findings suggest both increased engagement and improved retention",这种没问题。 Not only does this challenge existing paradigms, but it also opens new avenues." It is not merely a methodological innovation, but a theoretical reorientation." On one hand, the data supports X; on the other hand, it complicates Y." 你品品,这不是写文章,是报菜名。

❌ "The study not only demonstrates the efficacy of the intervention, but also reveals underlying mechanisms that were previously unaccounted for." ✅ "The intervention worked. What's more interesting is why it worked—the mechanisms it exposed hadn't shown up in any prior trial." ❌ "It is not merely a matter of improved test scores, but a fundamental shift in how students engage with the material." ✅ "Test scores went up, sure. But that's the surface story. What actually changed was how students sat in class, what they asked, when they pushed back." ❌ "On one hand, the findings align with prior research on cognitive load. On the other hand, they diverge in ways that complicate the existing model." ✅ "The findings line up with the cognitive load literature—no surprises there. Where it gets messy is the divergence, which doesn't fit neatly into any of the three models I could find."

Not only... but also"在PubMed上一年出现几万次。

第一,通读稿子,高亮所有"not only... but...""it is not... but...""on one hand... on the other hand"。 Not only did X, but Y" 拆成 "X happened. Y, though, is where it gets complicated." 或"The results..." 47 out of 52 participants reported..."比"The findings indicate a significant correlation..."
