It is important to note that...'

It is widely held that...' 代替 'X says Y and I think that's wrong';三段式综述结构,把每个哲学家都写得'同等重要',等于哪个都没站。 你写下 'Both utilitarianism and deontology present valid perspectives' 的那一刻,你就已经输了这个 room。

❌ 'It is important to note that Kant's categorical imperative requires agents to act only in accordance with maxims that can be willed as universal law.' ✅ 'Kant's categorical imperative doesn't just sort actions into good and bad. It asks whether your rule survives contact with everyone else's. And that's where it gets uncomfortable.'

❌ 'In this essay, the author will examine the trolley problem and discuss utilitarian versus deontological perspectives on the dilemma.' ✅ 'The trolley problem keeps coming up in ethics seminars because it's the one scenario where the arithmetic of outcomes and the weight of individual responsibility actually collide. You can't do both. And pretending you can is the move every intro textbook makes and no working ethicist defends.'

❌ 'In conclusion, it can be said that both utilitarianism and deontology have their respective strengths and limitations, and a balanced approach is necessary.' ✅ 'Utilitarianism wins on arithmetic. Deontology wins on the phone call you make at 2 a.m. You can't have both, and the moment you try to balance them, you've told the reader you still haven't decided what you believe.'

你害怕具体,害怕被反驳,所以用 'it can be said that' 和 'one might argue that' 把自己裹起来。
