第二句:'In 1941, they attacked Russia.' 第三句:'Then in 1945, Germany surrendered.'

看看这个典型的错误写法,也就是你现在的状态: ❌ First, the Roman Republic expanded its territories. Second, this led to social unrest. Third, Julius Caesar was assassinated. 这种 First/Second/Third 的堆砌,是最廉价的逻辑。 ✅ The expansion of the Roman Republic created a class divide that destabilized traditional political norms; consequently, this social unrest provided the fertile ground for figures like Julius Caesar to challenge the Senate, ultimately culminating in his assassination.

❌ In 1929, the stock market crashed. In 1930, unemployment rose. In 1933, FDR introduced the New Deal. ✅ The 1929 stock market crash did not merely cause high unemployment; it shattered the public's faith in capitalist stability. It was this ideological vacuum, rather than economic data alone, that allowed FDR to frame the New Deal as a moral imperative for social reconstruction in 1933.

❌ The treaty was signed by the Allied powers. It was influenced by public opinion. ✅ The Allied powers leveraged intense public pressure to sign the treaty, using it as a tool to legitimize their post-war authority domestically.

❌ The war was long. The war was costly. Many people died. ✅ The war, though long and costly in terms of lives, ultimately reshaped the geopolitical map of Europe.
